Privacy Policy
Last updated: 10 October 2026
Bangalore Packaging Automation LLP ("we", "us", "our") operates bangalorepackaging.com. This policy explains what personal data we collect when you use this website, why, and the rights you have over it, in line with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act).
1. What we collect
We only collect personal data you give us directly, through:
- Enquiry, quote, and support forms — name, email, phone, company (optional), your message, and an optional file attachment (spec sheet or drawing).
- The chat assistant — the messages you type are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply. They are not stored by us beyond the length of the conversation. To stop abuse, we keep a rate-limit counter keyed to your IP address — but the IP itself is one-way hashed (SHA-256) before it is ever stored, so we cannot recover it.
- Analytics — only if you accept the cookie banner. We use Google Analytics to understand which pages are useful; if you decline, no analytics cookie is set and no analytics data is collected for that visit.
We do not use tracking cookies, and we do not sell personal data to anyone.
2. Why we collect it
Solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quotation, provide support for machinery you've purchased, answer questions through the chat assistant, and — only with consent — to understand overall site usage so we can improve it.
3. Who we share it with
We use a small number of service providers to run this site, each acting on our instructions:
- Resend — delivers the email notification when you submit a form.
- Google — Gemini API (chat replies) and, only with your consent, Google Analytics.
- Cloudflare — hosts the site and the services behind it.
- Sanity — stores our product catalogue; it does not receive or store any personal data you submit.
We do not share your data with any other third party, and none of the above are permitted to use it for their own purposes.
4. How long we keep it
Enquiry and support submissions are kept for as long as reasonably necessary to respond to you and for our business records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner (see Section 6). Chat conversations are not retained after your session ends.
5. Your rights
Under the DPDP Act, you have the right to:
- Ask what personal data we hold about you
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Ask us to erase your data, where we're not required to keep it for a legitimate business or legal reason
- Withdraw consent for analytics at any time (see Section 7)
6. Contact us about your data
For any request relating to your personal data, or a complaint about how it's handled, write to us at [email protected] or call +91 733 802 9488. We aim to respond within 30 days.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies on your first visit. If you accept the analytics banner, Google Analytics sets a cookie to distinguish repeat visits; if you decline or take no action, that cookie is never set. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site and reloading the page.
8. Changes to this policy
If we change what we collect or why, we'll update this page and change the date at the top.
